Symbol of Heaven

Svarog was the Supreme and Heavenly god in both eastern and western Slavic religions. He was also the god of blacksmithing and formed all the other gods from his sparks. He was the guardian of the sacred fire. Svarog created the world with his hands, not with magic. This symbol was found on a casket made by the Przeworsk culture from Poland.

The symbol represents Heaven and the all-powerful Svarog. The interior swastika symbols represent the sun, which gives live to those on earth.

Today, the Hands of Svarog is a symbol used by Polish Rodnovers.
